    I wonder if the driver realizes just how lucky it was that the ditch was there to stop that truck. Imagine the ditch as asphalt driveway, then look down the hill to the HWY and all of that traffic going by. He got off really easy IMO.

    For always being in a hurry, you are correct, drivers are about the nosiest dang bunch imaginable. Always there with a cell phone to record someone else's misery and to provide super-trucker commentary.

    $10 says the driver was on the phone as he pulled in to fuel (or wherever he did not pull his brake button when he should have) Doesn't take a "new guy" to have this happen. Just a significant distraction at the wrong time is all it takes.

    I seriously doubt this particular company hires drivers with "minimal" experience.
