I had to drive to Mount Crawford to do the 14 hour orientation.....What a long drawn out bunch of BS that was......Then they sent us back to Charlotte driving my own car...No motel or nothing.
Did not even buy us lunch that day.
I kept asking where their yard was at in Charlotte and never got an answer....
The next morning I get a call with the location to the yard and they had a relay load that would be there that evening.
They told me the truck number I would be driving and that was it.
I found the yard that evening and Wow!...What a dump!
Just a big dirt parking lot.
Then I looked at the few trucks there and about died....The one they assigned me was a very old Volvo and just terrible nasty and stunk really bad inside..63 mph!....Dang!
All the trucks they showed us at Mount Crawford were pretty nice trucks...All the junk was in Charlotte.
I never did get my last paycheck from them either...they said they kept it to cover getting my USPS ID and my DOT physical.....Low life scum!Toomanybikes and bzinger Thank this. -

They still have trucks on the road! I passed 2 of them this week on I-40....How?

Due process. It's better to let someone continue breaking the law than to force someone not breaking the law to not make money while the trial creeps on.WildTiger1990, passingthru69, G13Tomcat and 1 other person Thank this.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Postmaster General is looking into this as well, considering the wire fraud charges. The money laundering charges alone means they can possibly get hit with the RICO Act,which all but guarantees that someone will go to prison.G13Tomcat Thanks this.

They were bought by Eagle Express Lines. So those trucks and all their issues belong to Eagle now. I've already seen a couple with the Eagle logo.

I've seen a few Beam Bros. trucks running around the Northeast along I-95 and I-84,mostly being pulled by owner/operators. No Eagle logos on those yet.
G13Tomcat Thanks this.
