Bearcat 980 SSB Big Disappointment :(

They're still in business. Last week, I went into one to get a simple SPST toggle switch... the kind that sells for $1.29 at Fry's. The cheapest thing that RS had was $3.49.

I still need a SPST toggle switch.

 

Ya mean you are supposed understand people on CB????? lol The older I get and the worse my constantly ringing ears get, the harder and harder that is for me to do. I just tell them "can't understand you". Here lately I've had more and more turn things down and then thank me for helping them adjust their radio.......is there still hope???

 

I know this is an old thread but I'm looking for info on this cb as I bought one today. Where is the dk pot the am pot and the ssb pot so I can adjust them all for max out put. I want to lower the dk tho as I plan on running a amp with it. Thanks

 

Is there a mod pot and a pot for am & lsb to get the max possible out of them? Also if I run a linear is there a pot to turn dk down. Thanks
