The O/O course looks pretty great right now honestly. Especially if you can run a business. Any level of real thought aimed at these markets will yield absurd returns on your time and your investment.

Why not do both? Couldn't you broker on the side? The start up costs are next to nothing compared to a new carrier.

Honestly once I get into this I may do just that. I have a nephew and a son who aren't interested in driving a truck, but are great salesmen and would do great as freight agents. We'll see what the future holds. -
Have you thought about maybe someone that is retired to drive your truck part time? Relief type driver for when you’d like time off for 3 day weekends,vacations, or sick, appointments and possibly develop the brokerage side.
