hi my name is shawn i have been driving as a local company driver for 10 years and I'm am currently looking to buy a truck and pull shipping containers, i live in Maryland. i have a friend who has a friend that pulls containers for rosewood and according to my friend the guy makes out very well but every owner operator i personally speak with has told me to run from the idea i have been told to stay as a company driver that the load rates are still the same as they made in the 1980s. i have been saving and I'm looking to buy a truck flat out so i will not have a truck payment just fuel, taxes, insurance, ext. is this a smart move or should i invest my money elsewhere. thank you...
