Been at Maverick Transportation for 6 six years and still enjoy it

Wasn't being a smart ###. You didn't get what I'm trying to say. You're not going to get an honest opinion about it from here. Go on maverick is great go see what its like, how much money you'll make, and the turnover rate. I been through maverick, just giving you input unless you only want good news. Which there is very little. Don't listen to any negative about it, there's absolutely none.

 

Ok took it wrong. My apologies. From what ive heard talking to mav drivers they are good. I hope so. Tired of hearing promises that arent kept.

They are good to start trucking with, and it may be the rare chance that they turn out to be the perfect company for you. The drivers who are still with them after a yr will probably have nothing bad to say which will probably be the input you get from others in this thread. All was sweet in the beginning for me. Out of the friends I made during orientation of the 14 I knew 10 have quit after the first 4 months. I quit after the first month things started going sour. Got on with a LTL. But if it wasn't for maverick I probably wouldn't have got my current job. Maverick is probably the best starter company and I'll leave it at that much.

 

Well I have 11 yrs exp so im not just starting out. I guess time will tell but ibknow im tired of job to job to findvthe right one

 

11 yrs exp can get you much better. I'd definetly recommend maverick for someone out of cdl school or their first otr position. Be careful what you say and do in orientation if you decide to go.
