yes, I am saying I know what the DOT regs say, and how to follow them, as it is MY job to KNOW...

DOT does NOT audit companies every year, they don't even audit them once a decade....they only audit a company if there has been a reason given to via a major accident... or past known bad acts.

Why don't you spend the weekend reading and understanding the dot rules for doing your job? You came here asking the question, but refuse the knowledge of the community.

Are you on elogs? If so I thought elogs automatically gives you a fresh 70 after 34 hrs off duty/sleeperbirth combined.

Because I assumed I could ask a question from some professionals and not have to worry about getting ridiculed on a false log. Silly me... guess I was wrong. Only a few here, based on their responses would be considered professional

not enough information was given about the 34 hr reset... has it been 168 hours since your last reset started? if not, you are not eligible...

    I just left the House.
Got home Fri night delivered a load Monday.

    Went back home. Until Wed.

On Monday I accepted my logs without rejecting my reset.

When I left Wed I decided I would have been better of not accepting my first reset.

So called Safety/Logs, and she was able to fix it for me.

Never said anything about the dot auditing them, they do their own log audit each week as a spot check on drivers, then they do a full compliance log each year. I've been on my own now for 8 weeks, understanding that #### green book is worse than the tax laws. If I was an owner op then yes i would take more consideration in understanding that book. However I am a company driver for the time being and am told to utilize my logs department with questions. Yes patty, I'm on elogs.

Like I mentioned, if you show a reset starting 7pm Friday then you can start one as early as 7pm this coming friday. That would let you complete one and be ready to roll Sunday at 05:00.

When you say the previous week you started a reset Monday I assume you mean 11 days before you ended up in the shop.

maybe you missed the part of my first post that specifically stated that I qualified for a reset prior to my truck going in for service. It helps to read the post BEFORE commenting

internal audit, is to comply with company rules, she may be doing it wrong the whole 20 years....

It is your responsibility to learn the laws that govern your work...

Yes Ive been running recap all week, the previous week i ran out of hours on my way home, rather than incur an issue with my hos, i stopped and stayed over till i gained enough time to get home, that put me onduty for saturday morning, my load was due in monday morning, so i left sunday evening to get to my consignee so i could get my 10 in before making my delivery so i could start off the day with a full clock.
