I'd like to know what you were going to school all these years for.

Your college time will be considered your work history. You will not have any problems as long as you have proof you were a full time student. I am 25 and been going to school part time off and on for 6 years and just switched to CDL. -

Can you convert any of your credits to an AA or get a liberal arts BA? -
If it all possible, get your degree before you do anything else. You can get a good paying job without one but it'll probably be something physical and outdoors in all weather.

Your employment history is "student." Journalism jobs are few and far between, unless you want to relocate to Singapore, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Beijing. These foreign jobs are usually to give an expats perspective to different issues. Research trucking before getting into it, so you don't get frustrated in the beginning; ie, getting into the right segment of trucking that suits you. Also take a look at sealiftcommand website & see if that interests you; has entry level also.

you can easily become a truck driver...like said before your work history is that you were a student. im assuming you can prove it with some sort of matriculation records or report cards. you may not be thrilled with the earning potential for the first year or so...but after that you can do all right. never will be as good as a job found by average college grad, but decent living. hours stink, pay per hour is weak to miserable, depending on how you figure it. you will not, however, have any problem whatsoever finding a job with any of the starter companies once you have a cdl from an accredited program. research both where to go to school, where you should go for a starter company, and where you would like to end up once you get enough experience.
