Been running my own rig and trailer around the country since 2000. The last ticket I received was back in 2015 for wrong lane usage. Last August, after midnight, I laid my truck over on its side on a secondary road in southern Illinois. The insurance companies which I had been paying for refused to pay for my wreck and the tow company, which wants to charge me between $96,000 and $126,000, is holding my truck and trailer hostage until they get paid. There is no way that I can pay it. I thought about going to work as just a driver, but all of the trucking companies to whom I have been applying are telling me that their insurance companies won't allow it. Any suggestions?
Bruce

Where is your location; state & nearest city/town?
The 2015 ticket isn't a big deal, but the layover is.
Some companies will hire you though with the layover.

Chinatown,
I live in downtown Chicago and easily pass all of the items which you listed so my only real problem is the roll over. My problem is finding that company which would be willing to hire me. Thanks for your comments.

Knightcrawler,
I had taken my 1 year physical 10 months earlier and passed and received my new CDL License. My paperwork was not sent to the Govt by the testing station like I thought it was going to be. When the cops showed up at the wreck they said I had no CDL license because they never got the notification of my having and passing the physical. I am not crying about this and whining like a little baby because the on site cop understood that sometimes the paperwork could sometimes get screwed up and therefore chose not to give a ticket for it ( something which I am thankful for ). Soon as I got back home I went to the proper authorities and rectified the paperwork problem. I am not looking for sympathy I am just looking for solutions on how to solve this problem of how to be able to get back to work.
