No I was well awake at the time, I was running a 2014 660 studio was running a nice straight piece of road for about 6 miles and the road made a sudden sharp turn to the right. I had some on coming headlights in my eyes and the headlights on my truck were never very good. I never saw the curve until it was to late. The road turned and I didn't.
Been running my own rig and trailer around the country since the year 2000. The

In my new 2023 Cascadia the headlights have an effective range of 150 feet. No way to adjust them.
Not seeing a turn right in front of me is one reason I keep an eye on my GPS screen.
That map is my friend, as it shows those sharp turns. -

Where is your location? We'll find a job for you.
I know some companies that will hire you, if you're in the hiring area. Other drivers on here also can help if we know your location/hiring area.Last edited: Nov 28, 2023

Your comment really makes no sense in the context of the posted explanation.
Driving at night on a straight highway, but there is a sharp turn coming up that you don't notice because of your poor headlights and oncoming light glare.
You have to know when to slow down. Sometimes there are signs, sometimes not.
Sometimes the GPS fails in giving good directions, but it does always show you the map of the road ahead of you. -
why was the tow bill so crazy expensive??!!
W923, 4wayflashers and Siinman Thank this.
