No i'm not trying to justify it at all just correcting you on the sodium. I know soda has a part in contributing to high blood pressure.

If you are taking BP meds, you will only get a 1 year card regardless of your reading.

Try a diet change. Cut out the salt, refined sugar and eat healthier food.

Trying to beat a test means you are just delaying the inevitable.

When I went for my physical before getting into training, my BP was borderline high. I was eating poorly, was overweight and stressed out (didn't have a job). Now my BP is around average for my age. I'm eating healthy, lost a ton of weight and am looking forward to a long career ahead of me.

Correct . I was referring to the op regarding the two year card . After a finding of hypertension , its a one year card for life . However , in three more cards , I won't give a hairy rat's ### .

Find someone who takes Isosorbide Mononitrate for Angina. One 40mg pill 4 hours before and you'll have the blood pressure of a 16 year old

Asparin is what recommend as it tends to thin your blood somewhat. Ibuprofen not sure.

I don't know if I buy into all this. Some of you may have read my previous thread about my adventure getting a new med card. The first time, I didn't eat, dip and took some aspirin. Well after the doctor tried to screw me with a sleep study I ate, dipped and was mad as can be when I went later in the day and my BP was actually lower. If I'm not mistaken the first reading was 138/87 and the second was 134/86.
