I did a 34K pound tire load. Now I'm no slouch, I am getting old though, but buddy let me tell ya, that's an ### kicking. And I fingerprint a lot of stuff cause I actually enjoy the workout.

 

I've a confession to make.... I sometimes prefer to sleep on an on ramp. Not an off ramp. If I'm in an area where I know all the fuel stops are either full or dung heaps, I'll opt for the on ramp. My theory is...the vehicles coming ON to the freeway are moving at a more sedate pace than those coming OFF. Also, I'll leave my parking lights on (whether I'm idling or not) so that I'm more easily seen. I have a fridge, microwave, 12 cup coffeemaker and propane stove on the truck, so I'm always guaranteed hot food and fresh coffee and the nearest rest area/next fuel stop is only a few miles down the road for the awesome dump I'll be taking within the next couple hours.

 

Parking on a ramp is not a legal parking spot.

 

Oh do I have a good story for this that happened at a TS the other day.
