It is my truck I bought a while back. You either put the camera in or walk away. It isn't bad. The only time it sends video to someone is if I trigger an event.

I've got some plans in my head I hope to realize around April 2017. I have a certain financial goal in my head and if I hit it I'll be moving forward on some stuff.

These guys have an added benefit in that I can view my actual fuel prices on an EFS app. It shows me the raw cost of fuel I'll be paying including their discount. I can really plan out my fuel and fill as cheap as possible all the time. Last week I ran 2800 miles and spent 590.00 in fuel. My average cost was only 1.90 per gallon. And I was getting about 9 mpg, that also helps.

Very interesting thread, obviously I've missed it so where, but what are the specs on your truck, I've read it's a Volvo/cummins combo, but you are obviously achieveing great fuel mileage from it, so curious or more detailed specs.

    Thanks

My old truck as a company guy at Knight was a Volvo. My current truck I bought is a 2012 Peterbilt 386, direct 10, 2.64 rear, super singles, APU, Flow Below kit, Cummins 15l motor that I had tuned down to 400hp 1450/1650 smart torque. I drive 60 everywhere at 1350 rpm. These guys have singles on the trailers, skirts, and tails. All of that helps in hitting 9 mpg. My 7 day average right now is 8.7 because I've had some rough routes here lately. Had to go from Denver to Clovis, NM (Raton Pass) then from TX panhandle to MS. Those TX back roads were killing me.

They sent me a load from MO to ID and I was hearing about all the weather out this way, mainly the wind in WY. I thought it would be cool seeing as I'm always so heavy with these guys but I pull up at the shipper and it says plastics division. The one time I get a light load and I'm going into 50 mph winds. I had to shut down in Laramie today for a couple hours until the wind gusts dropped below 50. They were gusting 59 when I shutdown. I made it where I wanted but drive slow until I got out of the wind. Wyoming is always out to get me.

I have a similar deal with my carrier, but not an app. Quick login at the carrier driver website and I can see pump price, discounts, etc and also plan my fueling for minimum cost.

My last load for the month delivers on the 31st and I will have 17,320.00 in revenue for the month on 12371 miles. I was really surprised I ran that much. I'm a slow SOB but pounded down a little over 3k miles per week. I can live with that.
