Being an O/O under a Carrier's Authority

    Someone damaged my truck last night and didn't own up to it and alert me. Blue scratches and holes in the fiberglass on the passenger side fender.

    At that rate I'm putting aside over .30 cpm beyond my costs. So, yes, what I'm getting is pretty good. I'm getting 1.36 all miles right now. If you know how to run efficiently it doesn't take 3.00 a mile to make money.

    As I said, at 1.36 a miles I am putting aside over .30 cpm in profits. That's over 30,000 a year into the business account as savings. I guess it boils down to what one considers good money. I would say, if this trend continues, to profit 30k on one truck is pretty darn good.

    Agreed. I am just addressing the fact that you can make money doing this. You don't need 3.00 a mile or something crazy to do it. Run smart and efficiently and you can make it.

    To each their own I guess. I prefer to keep realistic expectations. I enjoy my job as a result and don't chase dollars.
