I run my own dispatching company and I have a client I have a client i have been working with since 4 days after they got there MC#. Yes some brokers policy is 6 or a year but there are tons of others that will do it. Just need to make the calls. Good luck to you on your new business

 

Do you have an idea of the brokers you are going to call? What I did before I started my own authority was I called them all (about 5 at the time) and asked if they would load me. They all said yes. I have had no problems since. When you talk to them on the phone, just be very professional, NEVER ACT IN A HURRY, just be kind of laid back but firm at the same time. It takes a bit to get good at it, but in the end, they will respect you (providing you do what you say you were going to do) and just make the whole process smooth for everyone involved. Don't promise things you know can't be done though. Keep it all legit, and you should do just fine. Communication is key.
