I’m thinking he just forgot a comma.

Do you not think that it is in the best interest of all parties concerned that the driver LEARN these things?

No, #### doesn’t just “happen”, at least not what this OP described. A driver has a duty to not hit things, period.

This is when you should’ve shown this non-driver the door.

Never heard of getting paid for being broke down while at home? But if not working for 3 weeks id expect a different truck, or compensation.

9-11 destroyed the payroll company, killed and hurt the people who processed our pay as a Team contracted to McKesson running million dollar drugs which is essential to the Nation even now on 9-12 going to Linfield CT which controls medicine for the entire east coast.

We had about 14000 in savings the day of 9-11. Then we were told no pay until the entire third party payroll is replaced, caught up and then paid. Sometime in the future. The next question the boss asked us. Do we have savings to run on until then or do we have to go to the unemployment office?

It was 6 weeks before we got paid. And how.

As far as we are concerned we kept that medicine going, that truck rolling and used just about all of that to do it (We literally were involved in a 9000 dollar room replacement reconstruction at home pure cash loss to us due to storm damage not covered by insurance) The root cause of the water damage to that room was uncovered and fixed permanently when we replaced the entire roof, underpad, ice dams, and wood below about 6 years ago today that was about another 5200 dollars.)

So 3000 dollars spend in savings money to roll 6 weeks. We got all that back and then some.

Seriously? It’s the employers responsibility to ensure the driver has a vehicle to drive.

I was saying the brakes wasn’t being properly checked and he let the leveling valve come off the truck. Leveling valves are what levels out the tractor when it’s a load up there but basically it deals with the tractors air ride
