Yeah, I didn't quite make the connection until about the 3rd time I got a fast food meal and had a case of the "2 Step"... again. Since starting serious solo trucking and really concentrating on eating healthy I manage a fast food meal about once every two weeks. I can't eat salty food anymore, just can't. The taste is almost shocking to me now. Campbell's soups... can't eat 'em anymore. Too salty.
It's pretty amazing how good food tastes when you get fresh produce and cook whole grains and nuts. Add a little high quality olive oil and some balsamic vinegar and nothing compares to it. I think 90% of the food sold in supermarkets is over done: over cooked, over spiced (to hide the low quality ingredients), and over priced.

I keep a small craftsman toolbox with a set of sockets that go up to 22mm, full set of torx bits, phillips head, and flat tips that fit into one driver, instead of carrying 20 screwdrivers. A full set of metric and SAE wrenches, channel locks, vise grips, needle nose, a good telescoping magnet, duct tape, and electrical tape. You will also want to have an assortment of small electrical connectors, zip ties, and some cheap ratchet straps just in case. I buy a bag of rags at the home depot or you can buy a roll of paper towels and some decent hand cleaner... sucks not being able to clean your hands after you fix something at 2am on the side of the road. Get a big jug of hand sanitizer, keep your hands clean and you will stay healthy. just my .02
