Being Sued

No....female students not being allowed to be trained by male instructors/trainers.....whatever their term is!

I dont blame them for not allowing it, except for special situations. Too much liability. All she has to do is claim one little thing, n his life is over, then Prime will be sued. Doesnt matter what actually happend, just got to claim it. Happens everyday. I wouldnt take one on my truck when I get one.

O n a female I know from my PSD class... Shes on a male trainers truck...

 

Just someone trying to make a buck they won't make.

I know quite a few females who were/are trained by men.

 

Interestingly enough, the current policy was put in place because of a lawsuit 10 years ago involving men training women. The solution was for women to only be trained by women. Now they're getting sued because men can't train women. I guess the only way to win is to not play the game.

 

I've been trying to train women for years...

I read that article. Without taking a stand one way or the other on the core issue, I find it interesting how corporations always seem now to revert to "but it says it distracts from its goal of creating jobs" as a reason to do or not to do something. Being a federal investigator, I hear that excuse/reason/rationale/whatever all the time.

 

I see cross-gender training all the time at Prime and every other company. Someone is out to make a buck. I do know trainers and instructors get to accept or deny a trainee/student... and if I was given the choice of a woman I would definitely think hard. Like ORD said, all she has to do is SAY something happened, and you have to prove you are innocent - and your life is over. Period.
