I think one of the addresses on record is out of Sparks, but I reserve the right to be wrong.

Ok ya sounds like it. If one owners dad works on the trucks in sun Valley and the other owner name starts with a J and ends with a y get out fast. That's a bad outfit and they WILL get your cdl taken and not care just get a new driver.

I doubt it, I don't know many people there, but those I do seem to be Slavic (from countries in the Russian Federation).... again, I reserve the right to be wrong.

My advice isn't always taken too kindly, but here's what I would do and can say this from personal experience.
If you're on paper logs, just deal with it and if you don't want to deal with it, move on to a company with Elogs. Lots of good ones out there where you can make decent money.

Unfortunately for many drivers - while this approach is extremely effective - it does take balls and they are terrified of their own shadow.

Personally I have no issue fudging my logs just to reach a safe place(<30 minutes), but threre is a huge difference between that and the total fabrications I had to make.

In the right light balls can cast a terrifying shadow...

Indeed... Especially for those of us who have to deal with bowling balls, ahem....

    Lepton1 Thanks this.

Me too. I do it every day of every week because im local mon-fri sat and sun off. Overtime on sat and sun is always available and i almost never do it but if/when i ever decide to i like knowing i have hours left on paper.

The only thing i make a big deal about with my dispatcher is my 10 hour break. They use to try to give me 6-8 hours inbetween shifts sometimes and i stopped that real quick. I value my sleep.

EVERYTHING comes down to "are conditions bad enough that losing your job is an improvement." Yes, there is a law you can try and use. Are you a lawyer, are you ready to work under your current conditions AND become a full-time amateur lawyer also? The easiest option is to simply find another job and leave. Think of trying to sue your wife and still live with her. Even if you win your life will be very hard because your existence is wrapped up with the other person.

It would be nice if you could just repeat the law to someone at the company and your life become magically improved.

If wish new drivers who announce so casually that all trucking companies are the same so they will just hire on to known difficult companies could read your message, but nobody and no thing will stop those people. I am sure you did all you could to learn about your company before this situation developed. I wish you good luck and hope things work out. Be careful.
