Hopefully that got someones attention, someone with a medical background preferably !!!
I understand this is a truckers forum, but I have a real serious medical issue, and would appreciate a few opinions. I know this isn't medical school here, I just want a few opinions.
I have severe shortness of breath, or I guess, SOB as it's often called. I mean sob, as in if I am sitting down, and calm....then just stand up-I am out of breath !!!! Not always, but sometimes !!!!!
I can be sitting down, talking on a telephone, and suddenly start to almost pant-like I just ran 2 miles !!
I no longer smoke cigarettes, do not have asthma, had a stress test, eckocardiogram, chest x-ray, and a chest MRI. Everything is good to go, according to the cardiologist. I am a bit heavy, but not heavy enough to cause this problem.
I tried physical exercise in order to build up my endurance, and my cardio, but I can not improve it.
After playing doctor(by reading on the internet sites), it sounds like DVT-deep vein trombosis (I think).
And yes, I got a second opinion, but same answer.
What the heck do you think, could both the doctors be wrong !!!!!!
Thanks for any and all comments.

I, personally do not think that your symptoms come from DVT.
Symptoms and Diagnosis of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)
http://www.webmd.com/dvt/deep-vein-thrombosis-dvt-symptoms-diagnosis
I would guess that it may be allergy related. Try to take a Benadryl, if possible and see if this helps your symptoms. I will do some research as well.jtrnr1951, Texas-Nana and Baack Thank this. -

I'm not a doctor, but I do play one on the internet.

My vote is anxiety attack. -
I agree with Kicken Chicken........doesn't sound like DVT to me.....HOWEVER....I'm not a doctor so you take my advice at your own risk.

Thanks,
I forgot to include a few clues. I seldom cough, and never blood or plem. But the back of my calves(legs) get red, after sitting for awhile.
No allergie problems, that's what I thought also.......
Kinda has me and the doctors baffled. They cleared me to do phyical activities, of course in moderation, at first.
They also noticed that the heart was thick, like it worked hard, if I had high BP.
But, I have low BP-90/65. But I once did alot of illegal things ( read drugs) that make your heart race..... -
90/65??? That seems a bit low to me. Do you faint when you get up suddenly after laying down? Or get dizzy?
kickin chicken Thanks this. -
The chicken is a certified Orthotics and Prosthetics Fitter. I can fit braces, prothetics and compression hosiery that is used for symptoms of Phlebitis which includes DVT... and also burn victims.
I am going back to school to finish my nursing degree. I will start next semester with the last math class that I have. Ugh
By no means am I the right person to be telling you about your health. I have learned to do a lot of research though. I hope this helps

I am 60, my parents are alive, and some grandparents are still around. And NO, they didn't start families when they were 12 !!!!!!
Low blood pressure is on one side of my family, seems to be a good trait. Gramma is 102, and still living at home, and 100% self sufficient.
I didn't mean the DVT, I meant after it travels to your lung, anyways...
Thank You all for your replys.
I am going to study up on a few things posted here.......kickin chicken Thanks this.
