Has anybody worked for them? I'm being told that they are all owner ops based in McDonough Ga. They are now doing the lease purchase routine through a third party. That I'm looking at. Good, bad and the ugly guys. Worth going to work for?

They have a term. in tx. and atl. you can work as much or as little as you like, they have a book full of agents if you can find someone to ride with you can haul hi security loads where someone must stay with truck at all times, now that menlow is out of control rates are better, you still have a disp. to help you find loads but most are on their drivers page.

That rider has to have a valid CDL also, to run security lds.

I signed on with them, and no loads yet. Nothing negative to say just real early on. I did make a call to them and got bounced around a lot before they got me to the right people to complete a carrier packet.

Had been with Bennett for 14 years. Somethings to consider. We used to donate to the drivers relief fund 100.00 a month for about 4 years. When our son in law died we asked for some help. Was told that was mainly for the Georgia Drivers. Since we lived in Oregon we quit donating. Also they will want you to have your
4 annual inspections done at their yards or the Petro/Ta Corp. Will want you not to be loaded saying the inspection will go better. Phil DeSouza with Bennetts shop has entered into an agreement to be automatic notified if you fail. Which has given Petro/Ta carte blanche to say whatever they want. At that time you will be placed out of service where ever you are until those items have been repaired. The Bennett shops will ask for repairs done that they choose. Instead of systems pertaining to actual inspections. Other than these things they are not to bad to work with. They have quite a few company drivers now. Safe guard yourself. Never let them get you over a financial barrel. Good- Luck

upload_2017-4-21_14-10-32.png Yeah, I really would want to lease onto someone who cannot even spell the word "surcharge" correctly.
