OK you didn't really believe these were actually going to work?
They are not 5500ºK, they are close to 8000ºK, they are blue lights which should be illegal and people need to get $2000 ticket for them.
ALSO just to point out these are OFF ROAD lamps.

These are 55 watts, they are cool white but hey what the hell.
I used these a lot, they last longer than what I have used in the past.

They’re not THAT blue.
I have your suggested bulbs in my pickup. Their lifespan is terrible. They don’t make it a year in something that gets driven on the weekends. For all the night driving I do in this KW, they’ll probably only last months.Siinman and Rideandrepair Thank this. -
I have them in my beater truck and they haven't failed yet with 18 months of running.
There are others out there but I have been thinking all of these lights other than OEM quality are not intended to last.
Here is the thing you got to get about blue lights, they are fatiguing on your brain and causes more than just a reduction in lighting quality.
I wish the cops would enforce the lighting laws in Michigan, a lot of these ricers use these blue lights like it is something special and all it does is scatter the light and blind people. The same goes for the use of blue and red lights on tow trucks, they should not be made to look like cop cars.Siinman Thanks this. -
SO blue.
SO 8000°K.
SO $2000 fine.
SO scattered.
SO blinding.
SO off road.
SO fatiguing.
SO horrible, sat between two new Volvos with LED headlights, tonight. I should be lynched.
