That is the big thing with werner.. they have hundreds of accounts.. if you call driver placement they will try and get you on an account that needs drivers... not necessarily the best account available in your area..

What you need to do.. is log on to the website go to the driver login and go the driver portal.. then under the second tab.. i think it is called classroom.. anyway it is the sencond tab, when it drops down there is etrainer and driver placement. . Just click on driver placement

It takes you to the driver placement page.. just enter your zip code and all the accounts in your area come up...

Pick out the best 3... then enter a zipcode that is right around you.. sometimes it will bring up an account that didnt come up under your zipcode. . Do that for zipcode within a 50 mile radius of your and keep writing down the top accounts... then submit requests for those accounts...

Keep in mind, changing accounts is easy at werner.. and a lot of accounts have sign on bonuses. . Some are small, like $500 and you have to be on the account for 90 days to get it.. some are big.. upto $7500

Now, the bigger the sign on bonus the longer you have to stay on the account to get the full amount.. so you my get $500 your first 30 days then $1000 on your 90 day and $2000 on your 6th month.. and other variations of that...

but, you can use the bonuses to your advantage. .. for example, if there is a waiting list for an account you want to get on... get on an account where you can get the sign on bonus while you wait to get on the account you want...
