Yup, thanks, that was the story. Gas generators put out a lot more carbon monoxide then diesel ones do. I'm also surprised how many of you don't have a smoke or CO detector in your trucks! I have one in my truck.
I have a Rigmaster and it's been running very well since 2006. Still looks brand new. Things do break and need to be fixed or replaced. I've also replace a rusting panel. I keep up with the maintenance.

Unless he rose from the dead the article says they found him dead! -
You can Google search on "wayne azlin carbon monoxide"
39,600 hits on how he died so I'm pretty sure he's dead -
It just dawned on me. I think you mean that's just a file photo and not the one that killed the driver?
Bean Jr. Thanks this. -
I had been waffling about what to put on my son's replacement truck. Even did the paperwork for the lease deal on a Dynasis a while back on the previous truck and backed out on the order. I bought a 2000w Honda generator and a portable ac instead to get by a while longer. That turned out to be enough hassle that it wasn't being used. The good news is that generator is way more portable than the 6500w one I have for backup power at home, and isn't a waste or going on craigslist.
A combination of looking at various really noisy options installed on other peoples trucks at truck stops, and the 26,000 hour Tri Pak on my KW being dead reliable and quiet, will have me placing the order at the TK dealer in a few weeks. The convenience factor with it not being on the truck I drive is one thing. The other thing I like about the Tri Pak is it being plumbed into the trucks coolant system to help with cold starts when I venture to places that matters.
When you start thinking about sticker shock, how about working out those 2000 hour service intervals (and related downtime and hassle) on a unit that only runs when a/c is requested or low battery/below freezing. My older one with 1000 hour intervals goes a little over a year between PMs. Still going to be the most expensive one out there, but not as bad as it looks.Hegemeister and OONewbie Thank this. -

There was an article about this. A guy said he was going on a business trip. Years later a brochure this resort showed a couple holding hands on the beach. It was him. It was NOT his wife.icsheeple and RedForeman Thank this. -
I'd really like to see the setup that got that driver killed.
