Best Bars For Truckers

    there are alot of bars in LAS VEGAS if you are on the I-15
    besides that I have not really been too alot of bars since I started driving about 4 years ago

    Sitting at Florida 595 til Monday bar right on truck stop feeling pretty good and enjoying it. Needed a drink been bad week.

    Across the street from the Tomahawk truck stop in Watkins,Co.

    LuLu's bar and grill...

    The BBQ nachos are the bomb....


    TA Southington,Ct.
    Go left out of the driveway,1/4 mile on the left in a little strip mall..

    Billy O's tavern... They have 6 local brews on tap.....


    Sapp bros and the Pilot in Council Bluffs,Ia..

    The Salty Dog and BadonkaRonks bars are just north of the truck stops on the east side of the road...

    They are homemade chips covered in pulled pork,bbq sauce,black beans,corn and jalapena peppers if you want...
    They serve it as a appettizer,but it's a meal,let me tell ya....
    And they have PBR on tap.....

    Lulu's is awesome. IH is right the BBQ nachos are awesome and they will sell you a steak and send you out back to the grill to cook it yourself. I can remember a few nights that I didn't kno if I was going to make it back across the road to my truck.

    PBR on tab is an incentive to go to a bar? Wow. That's the stuff that was sold to us out the back of a certain convenience store in my hometown in Mississippi, largely because nobody else would buy it.
    Oh, the memories I have from those days....

    I like that Space Aliens Bar and Grill place which is cattycorner from the Petro in Fargo. Been there twice, it wasn't particularly crowded, they had Killian's on tap, and the food was pretty good, too. As an added bonus, truck drivers didn't seem particularly commonplace there.

    Not too many drivers will make the long trek over to Space Aliens...:biggrin_25526:

    Plus they see kids going in and figure it's like a Chucky Cheese...
    They have a nice seperate bar area.

    I'll have to check Space Aliens out sometime. If you go to the bar next to the J in Fargo there is a Chinese place that will deliver food to the bar.
