I have a simple question. What is the best 4G cellphone carrier for the west coast to the mid west? I need to entertain myself with Netflix and chatting to wife using face chat while I am down and of course getting my day to day updates of Truckers Report. Thanks

Verizon, hands down, is a great carrier for OTR. I rarely am without a connection.

Verizon is very very good. More expensive. But you get what you pay for.

I said Cricket because NO CONTRACTS AND my wife has a broadband card she uses for internet connection EVERYWHERE...even going down the road she can be online, heck even watch tv/movies never interupted or studder...better than HDTV sometimes!

Verizon is cdma and has a much better coverage in rural areas. Att and the sim card(usually prepay and sprint) carriers are gsm and have very weak coverage outside of cities and major highways, but they are catching up. Don't use Prepaid cheapo ones. A couple friends of mine had issues with their's in home town on I-90 in Montana, but other providers may act better.
