If you have Verizon’s or At&’s highest unlimited plan, you should be fine. Having both doesn’t really add much benefit. I have Verizon, and I have data like 95% of the time on my 10 hr breaks. It’s the real deal. Yes, I stream Netflix and YouTube all the time.

I took a look at At&t highest unlimited plan, and it’s not superior to Verizon’s. Sure, it’s cheaper, but if you’re an OTR or regional driver, you want to have uninterrupted LTE data for up to 75 GB and not 22 GB. As truckers, our smartphone is our only internet. The Pilot/FJ WIFI still needs some more work done to it.

I understand that. My plan is having a backup voice line for emergencies where only AT&T has coverage. The Gophone plan is 25¢ per minute, but the $100 card keeps it active for 365 days, which means $8.33 per month to keep it active. I never used it last time, but it's cheap insurance.

With Verizon, and when I had At&t, I do not remember the last time I was in a situation where I needed to make a call and I couldn’t. It’s very, very hard to be in that situation if you have Verizon or At&t. Times have changed so much that the same can almost be said about data. It’s surprising because about 5 years ago, we all had data problems. I remember the days when data wasn’t always available on my 10 hr breaks.

Vermont had a GSM carrier that built out the coverage and AT&T bought them out and has certain areas that Verizon doesn't.

I have T-Mobile and it does very well in most areas. There are still a few spots that lack, but they have gotten much better over the years. The customer service is pretty good as well.
And they have a free service which allows you to stream from Netflix, Hulu, Amazon... with no hit to your data if you are on a limited line.

If people ever tried Verizon or At&t, especially right now that their prices are very low compared to before 2017, they will never—ever return back. Trust me.
