Granted, for the pay they offer, ya gotta put up with a lot of crap.

 

WOW!! That’s a change. I worked at the Midland yard almost 7 years, there is a large housing complex on the property.

 

Just announced 4-24-2023, Reladyne of Cincinnati OH., has purchased 51% of Sun Coast Resources.

 

A giant ($10 billion) private equity fund, American Industrial Partners bought Reladyne in December of 2021. They just added SunCoast in April of 2023. Reladyne is the largest national company in the lube space. Since SunCoast’s competitors like Pilot Thomas have both lube and fuel divisions, the AIP guys probably thought they could increase value by adding fuel.

From the ground I’m hearing that the takeover is starting off a little shaky. Drivers are being given busy work around the yard because SunCoast no longer has enough work to keep them busy. We’re talking three to four hours and then being sent home. Could be that some morons from Reladyne are damaging established relationships with SunCoast customers.
