    I live in Phoenix az and am trying to go to ait I have applied to three companies but the school won't let me go there until I get pre approved by a company does anyone have any suggestions of other companies I should apply too?

    So the three companies you applied for won't pre approve you? Just fill out an app for one of the mega...Swift, Werner, Schneider, Celadon.....

    I'd apply at another school. As long as you have the money to pay them, and are a good attentive student, it shouldn't be any of their business if you don't ever plan to drive a truck professionally. If you just want the experience of driving a big truck awhile, that's all that matters. People go to aviation school for the experience, without becoming professional pilots.

    I applied to covenant transport, Werner and Carolina cargo something...I really want get hired this is what I want to do with the rest of my life I need this job I could call southwest trucking school but I've put a lot of effert into ait i got declined by covenant today still waiting to here from Werner and Carolina

    Just no experience I'm on some meds but have all my paperwork letters from Drs and a passed dot exam

    Every company has bad things said about them...including the ones you applied to. I have met many a former Swift driver that was grateful for their experience there. They all got in went OTR, then after 6 months got on a dedicated account...then after one year got on with a better outfit. Alot of it comes down to what you make of it. Learn their system, work it to your advantage and move on....this goes for any starter company.
