I don't think Danny Herman hires in Florida.

You know I was looking at Celadon but I’m scared they’re going out of business. Did they get bought out or something, or are they getting back on their feet? It all sounds great otherwise

New management fired all the incompetents and got the company back on track. I think some investors took over and now the company is strong again.

Thanks! I know a lot of doors will open for us once I get my full year of experience in, but as long as we keep our records clean, the sky is the limit :)

Been running team with Abilene for a year, we are out of FL too. Got a brand new truck, best equipment goes to teams. Volvo 780s for the most part, new ones are coming...

We get .50 per mile, decent miles, more if you stay out longer. We have gotten over 20k per month, every month so far, which qualifies you for a .02 per mile safety bonus each month. Also you need no incidents over 1k in damage to get the bonus.

At 3 months experience, most companies will want to train you.

Abilene has been good to us, we are treated well. I have been here 2 years and my girlfriend has been teaming with me for the past year.

I called Celadon. They’ll take me with my experience, because my husbands experience makes up for mine.

    .50 CPM
.10 bonus for 18,000+ miles ran (paid for all miles ran that month. Example: 20,000 miles is a $2000 bonus)
$2000 EACH for every 25,000 miles ran (max $8000 per team member)
$1000 EACH for home time (4 weeks a year)
    $125 orientation pay
    $500 bonus on first check
    2 pet policy for teams

They’re getting brand new equipment next year. For now they run 2014-2016 mixture of brands, all equipped with inverters, APUs and refrigerators.

Sounds pretty good for a 1 year gig because of the bonuses they offer.

    Chinatown Thanks this.

That sounds great, except for the older trucks. The 2016 should have over 750k on them if they were team trucks.
