I am retired military and have my Cdl but have no experience driving outside of the military. What would be the best company to work for?
Best company for retired military with no experience?

FFE (Frozen Food Express) will probably welcome you and put you through some training. You won't need the full cdl course, probably just some type refresher to get you updated on the new laws, etc.
Depending on when you retired, you might qualify for some veterans programs and make extra money each month. VA Military Apprenticeship Program is the name of it.
Here's a couple of companies that participate in that and have cdl training:
Jim Palmer Trucking
Contract Freighters www.cfidrive.com
Check this company:
Western Dairy Transport www.wdtmilk.com - they have their own cdl school in Abernathy,Texas.Last edited: Jan 4, 2018
