Yep, all LTL’s run out of SLC. It’s a huge lane. Wamsutter is a big turn point. OLD D built a turn point drop yard in the middle of nowhere in Wamsutter.

Thanks for the Information Chinatown. Any idea on the compensation that Prime offers? Would it be a good place to get my initial (2) years of experience?

Considering where you live, Prime is probably a good choice. Only other one I can think of is www.cfidrive.com which is dry van and they ship you to school in Missouri.
Other than those two, a private school would be my choice.

Lol, The Yankees came to the UT territory ( which included 98% of Nevada at the time) and got kicked back east. Some heinous deeds in that era for sure, and not shedding the best light on the Mormons at the time. Some "charismatic" people can influence a lot of sheep.

I think there are too many migrants from California that came in a muddied the water for that to still hold effect nowadays. The bigger places get, the more they swing to the right. :(

"Deseret" is still holding on. :) You know they are going to be hard to kill when 15% tithing is going to the church.

If you want to be home every day, go with Old Dominion or ABF.
If you want to travel, go with Prime or CFI.

OD just built a new terminal 3 miles from my house in North Ogden. It's only 5 months old and very close to where I live. Would be ideal for me.

My last company was Tankstar; 48 states & Canada. I love OTR.

I can see where OTR would be fun --seeing the country and just being out there but I've got 3 young kids. LTL is best for me right now. Maybe OTR later on. You an o/o or company employee?

Company driver. Never had the desire to own a truck.
Old Dominion is probably ideal company for you.
