Hello new here. Sorry if the question has already been asked but. In the process of buying a 4 axle to do bigger loads. I hear about various companies but once I check them out I hear bad reviews. Anyone know of a good company? Since I will have payments to make don't want to drive for free. Any help of suggestions appreciated.

Maybe find the company before buying a truck. That way you can buy a truck that is specs to fit the need of the company you plan to lease it onto.

This is the best advice. I haul northwest heavy and have spent the last year studying bridge charts and playing with wheelbase and axle spreads to find the right combo to go with on specs when I move from a company truck to leasing my own to this outfit. You know how hard it is to get a 12'6" lift to rear drive axle spread and keep the lift out from under the sleeper and stay close to 75' overall lenght.

    Pnwtrucker Thanks this.

Ya isn't that 12'6" a sweet rule. Makes you so long you end up with to much off track for certain highways if your pulling a 53 quad. I always thought that was a crazy rule

I don't have lift on but I got one sitting in corner of the shop. Always specd my trucks out so I could if I needed to add one and I end up with 300 inch wheelbase lol.

Im looking at a short hood 389 with a 63in bunk with current spread of 190,63,54 for a 280" wb with a 9'9 spread. If I can get my drunk squirrels to sober up and line up for a spring time purchase Im looking at them changing it to a 180,99,54 which will put me at 306 with a 12'9 spread.
