I was at Crete Carrier terminal here today... spent 6 hrs chatting with some lovely drivers and a trainer...
A couple took me to their truck and showed everything inside..
Will go back there tomorrow to speak with folks in the office and get a few more info...
Didn't make my mind yet... I like their pay very much and the variety of accounts. But there are several things that I don't like about them...

    McFarland Truck Lines, Austin, MN.

Based on your other responses, I don't think we're the best match for you, as our two terminals are in Minnesota and Ohio, not the Mid-South as you desire. Good luck in your endeavor.

When I went to school for my CDL, I almost paid 7k.
The week before going to driver's school I looked up big carriers.
Swift, Schneider among other's already listed above.
Schneider was the only trucking company at that time to offer me a plate of goodies.
    1) Free transportation to and from school. In my case they reimbursed me for gas and tolls.
    2) Free hotel for 4 weeks
    3) Two free meals a day at the cafeteria inside the Scneider Terminal and it was really good food.
    4) Paid me $80 a day for the whole time I was in school and then $90 a day while driver training.
    5) I signed no contract to work for them and had no obligation what so ever after receiving my CDL

    As some have said
You need to get out of and away from the truck
Even if you had a big bunk you still need to recharge in a different environment

Get out and spend some of that $$ on an upscale resort or ?? For a couple days each month
You’ll still be $$ ahead and actually feel like you have a normal life

You should be able to find deals online especially if you’re somewhat flexible

That's a bit misleading. Those are owner/operator trucks not company trucks.

CR England keeps the wheels a rollin. You and two of your friends can share the three bunk delight and stay gone forever.
