In my research the Blackvue appears to be the best and is what I will be installing in my personal vehicle once I stop being lazy.

A quick look at their website shows they came out with a unit designed specifically for commercial trucks since I had last investigated.

Wheel Witness HD Pro. I paid about 140 on Amazon. Great video day and night. Easy to set up. Can hard wire or plug in (included). Am using a 64g sd card on highest res and it'll run about 6 hrs before overwrite. Can use 128g. Easy to save a file on the go and download is easy. Mine came with 2 stickys and 1 suction mount. I really like it. Pic on left is not from it.

Had a cheaper cam but night wasn't good and hard to program. Always remember "you get what you pay for"

Ebay G1W model. They have different models like the G1W-C which is what I have. It's no battery just capacitor. I wanted that cause of heat from windshield usually will fry the batteries on units and do damage.

I researched for days on dash cams finding out what was the best bang for my buck. This camera got great reviews all over the Internet on all kinds of sites. I got mine on ebay but you can get it on Amazon and other places. They may even have a newer models now.

I have had mine for about a year now and they work perfect. I got 2 one for work truck and 1 for pickup. Then guys at work wanted some I have order about 6 of these for me and others and all are working fine.

Can out a 32gb card in for about 5.5hrs of record time at high quality. I did use a 64gb for just over 10 hrs of record buy it froze at 10th hr so I would have to reboot. Camera isn't suppose to support a 64gb so I can't fault camera for that. No problems with 32gb card

If you want good bang for your buck then this is a great one to look into. It'd cheaper and good. Of course there are better models out there with different better features, higher record times, maybe better quality but your gonna be spending $200 or more on one.

Check it out G1W then like I said they have different models that will end in -C or -CB etc....
