Krispy Kreme is not a donut, it is a sweet roll. And not a very good sweet roll. Might as well just eat a scoop of lard.
I have always liked plain Dunkin Donuts glazed.
Best donuts you've ever eaten while trucking.

Fine = one or two doughnuts and a thermos of coffee in a cup.
They still need to rethink stepping out onto the travel lane at the bottom of a downgrade in front of me. It's not smart.tucker, Oldironfan and Puppage Thank this. -

A little doughnut history for you all.
Back in the 1920's, a lady with the last name of Renison opened a doughnut shop in Paducah Kentucky called Crispie Creme. It was very popular with locals, but Mrs Renison wasn't happy with the town and wanted to move closer to family in Portsmouth Ohio. So she sold her doughnut business in Paducah and they kept the same recipes and changed the name to Krispy Kreme so there wouldn't be a conflict with the original name. They moved that company to I believe North Carolina, and the rest is doughnut history.
I grew up in Portsmouth Ohio in the 60's and 70's. Crispy Creme made the greatest doughnuts in the world as far as I was concerned. My high school girlfriend was Mrs Renison's grand daughter. The doughnut shop is still there today, and they still use the same original recipe.Oldironfan and Trucking in Tennessee Thank this. -

Duck donuts. Not sure if truck accessible but worth a park and walk. Make sure you get the ones with bacon on them.
Jazz1 and Oldironfan Thank this.
