A family satisfying its income needs AND having pride in their product is different than a corporation constantly demanding lower costs and more profit. I mean I know it good for u$ financially but it leads to a crap product and then the eventual end of said product for knowledgeable consumers.

 

That’s fine but I can tell you that just because it’s a small family operation doesn’t guarantee that providing quality at reasonable prices is foremost in their business practices. Many small places are the worst about selling garbage at premium prices and hoping people like you don’t notice, but rather focus on the idea they are small and innocent of “corporate greed”

 

I don't know how they would keep a customer then.....my hard earned money seeks great products and does not return to crap.

That's a lame looking donut. I have had various bacon donuts, some better than others.

Going down Slausen Ave today I saw a donut place whose name caught my attention
"New Donuts"


These asian immigrant shop owners really need to have their shop name decisions ok'd by fluent English speaking friends. Have you seen some of the odd but simple names they come up with?

I wonder if the owner of the "Good Donuts" store knows they're doomed to fail given all of the other "better" competition?
