I learned many years ago that a stockyard with a restaurant is normally a great place to stop and eat. The stockyards in Brush Co and Ok City come to mind.

I95 in Connecticut right after the i91 merge, on the water side there is a road that a bunch of food trucks park on, a lot of them have Mexican food, and it's pretty good to me.
