Im shocked by these answers. I hope it didn’t discourage you from trying - it DEFINITELY can be done. I am a walking testimony of that. My best advice - do a trio combination. Become a Planet Fitness member, an Anytime Fitness member, and carry some adjustable dumbbells, kettlebells, Jumprope, and a folding bench with you. My wife and I do this and are able to complete a workout via one of those options almost every day. We first look for Anytime fitnesses, many of which are near Walmarts or another big shopping center that we can park at inconspicuously. We have taken countless 10 hour breaks at these locations and seldom have an issue. If we can’t find a viable anytime, we look for Planets which are even easier given that they are almost exclusively part of shopping malls or have big parking lots. If it’s a stand-alone planet, I can pretty much guarantee you you won’t have an issue parking there. We like to call ahead as a courtesy. If neither of those options pan out, we are in the middle of nowhere, or we are stuck at a shipper/receiver all day, we will pull out the personal equipment and do a workout outside. This OTR life is what you make it, and clearly the rest of these people would rather make excuses than take care of their body. Good luck to those guys when they can’t pass their DOT physical because their gut is too big. Hope it goes well for you my friend, happy lifting.
