I have 2 tv and 5 security cameras that upload video for backup and about 35 lightbulbs I control and some other things. That use internet data. It has dropped to 800 GB last month. The security cameras were uploading about 20-35 GB a week. I never had that before because I never had high speed internet until I got the T-Mobile box, a PS5 game can be very big.

Let us know how it works moving around to different locations

I know it is not a real answer, but I recently dropped Cox cable for Verizon Home 5G internet along with Hulu for my TV needs. It is a violation of the Verizon TOS to use it anywhere but your home. I am paying $80 a month for UNLIMITED internet with speeds that average around 235 to 290 Mbps. This is totally wireless. Maybe one day a 5G system can be developed for travel.

They already have it. LTE Business Internet Plans and Services | 4G LTE Network

I have the 5g version but it works great and unless they have changed their TOS and not updated me or their website you can take it anywhere. Its reliable as well. Pretty rare i have issues with it.

I was looking into Starlink. Saw a great couple vids on YouTube including one trucker. But curious if anyone here can share their experience.

One main ? I'm wondering is if better to do the roaming version which is a little slower than the residential or the residential? Seems like if you're not trying to use it while actually moving (I'd only use when parked) the residential would work. Appreciate your thoughts.

Right now, Starlink is expensive. Last time I looked, they had 2 plans for travelers: $50 a month for 50GB and $165 a month for unlimited. I like the concept though and hope that maybe at some point, those satellites will have the bandwidth to handle voice calls.

    BlackjackCo Thanks this.

Residential will only work at one address. They all are starting to cut people off that get home internet then move around
