Best option for fridge or cooler?

Dometic is more expensive than most. Made in China. Visited Amazon and found many complains about Dometic CFX3 45 saying compressor stopped working when they plugged it in the truck and gave "warning 33 - compressor start fail". One said company would admit the problem and it would advise customer to not use it...
One said it's very noisy and another said it's quiet... Other said it doesn't work on 12v...
Hard to make a decision based mainly on reviews... each one has a different experience...
Excluding TruckFridge, all fridge companies I found are overseas... most in China... And all brands I researched, ARB, Dometic, Engel, Alpicool, Euhomy are not 100% great. There will be items sold with factory defects and they will fail right away or after a while...

 

I’ve had 2 factory installed 12v fridges in my Freightliners. They were Norcold brand. Each one lasted about 6 yrs. They’re expensive. That’s what most Trucks had when ordered with a fridge.
