Best or most fun Truck stops……

Back in the day the Lee Hi in Virginia was a good place.
And so was Bruce’s in Bakersfield and the Outpost in Hesperia Ca.
And Betts Big T in Chiefland Florida was a good place.

 

There’s a place north of Sarasota, Florida I can’t remember exactly where it is. But it’s almost too good to be true. They have free showers and they give you like five fluffy towels. An awesome open parking lot that’s easy to get in and out of, a café with old-school style home cooked meals at a cheap price and they have one other thing too…STRIPPERS!

you cAn shower, go eat a great meal and then go watch beautiful naked dancing ladies all in one stop

Judging from how they treat the drivers these days in general, that's what they want you to

Hahahahaha! All there is a Love's and it's horrendous!

 

Would that be the one in Bolingbrook? They've tried to clean it up a bit, but it can still be
rough around the edges.

 

Sisters on Cherry St off I-10 in Fontana back in the 'ol days. And the small dirt lot fuel stop on the North side of Milliken Ave, across the 10 from the TA. Where the In and Out and Jack in the Box are now.

 

Stayed at the I-55 truckstop in Bolingbrook about a month ago, first time stopping there in probably 10 years or so...

Its definitely better than it was IMO. Restaurant was good and the shower was too.

Fatty Magoos across the street is a great food/bar option as well.

Seems the pay 2 park keeps alot of the trash away also.
