You sound just like the guy! Sure you weren't moonlighting? :biggrin_2559:

I know there are reasons....... it just gets annoying when you are one of those people who take care of your equipment/property, just to have it become obsolete within a matter of months anyway (I also REALLY liked my first ATT phone - it had a flip out keyboard for texting - when they went to Cingular there was nothing like it) ....... :biggrin_25513:
I was afraid of this...... saw something similiar a while back but couldn't find it again to double check.......

I dread having to deal with Verizon again....... they have their own version of "trucker math" that can be infuriating......:biggrin_25511:

But if it comes down to it...... my laptop (and the internet) are worth a little aggrivation...... who knows?......... maybe they are a whole new company now and I will be eating my words........ :biggrin_25525:

Thank you for your "two cents".......

Oh Verizon is still the same old company. I have them and the drive me nuts sometimes. As you have said they have their own trucker math. But the one thing I can say is when I need to make a call it works and I have had ATT and Verizon phones side by side. The Verizon worked 92% of the time and ATT some place like 84 to 86%. The ATT was a company phone. So it cost me nothing. I have a friend that has a Verizon wireless card and loves it.

I have nothing but good things to say about US Cellular. I have the nationwide plan and my phone has always worked flawlessly from Florida - Wisconsin and inbetween, as well as NY/NJ and inbetween.

Well someday we might be able to get good to great service nation wide. But I know not to hold my breath....Until then we will love & hate our cell phone providers.

Without question SPRINT is the best! I have never been without service and I drive linehaul/all 48 states. They also just recently started a program where it is 99.99 a month for unlimited everything your phone can do: calls, text, internet, tv, etc.

I am a 6 year US Cellular customer and have had NO problems with service other than dropping calls between state lines and the ol' Home area/Roaming switch.

I really like the new Instinct and the 99.99 Simply Everything Plan that Sprint is offering. Just afraid to get out there and be without service when I need it. I just broke my Razr last night and am back on my Nokia 6585. We will see if it is a Network issue or phone issue between states.

So far, so good. We've not been without service yet.

On a recent trip to Helena, MT, my Verizon was never out of service except for most of Wisconsin. Even had service in the middle of North Dakota.
