    Verizons Hotspot is $30 extra.
But I found an app where I can use it for free.

Make sure that app doesn't limit you're data usage per use

It looks like the overall choice for Nationwide service is Verizon. I am a new driver and have never need a Smart phone, but I feel it will be a good tool. The plans I hve been looking at is about $30 a month more for Verizon. Is is really worth the difference.
    ATT $90/Mo
    Verizon $120/month
    Thanks for any coments

Sprint is still unlimited for data. Nothing close to the speed of Verizon.

give it time. they are transitioning to lte also. that wimax thing didn't pan out.

verizon is spotty in wyoming, montana, idaho, arizona, new mexico, texas, maryland, w virginia, nevada, oregon. rare in the dakotas. almost nothing in oklahoma unless your on the toll road.

everyone says they have coverage in colorado but i get nothing off the 25 or 70.

so far, i haven't seen better coverage.

I have ATT, can't really compare it to others since I have never had them. I have phone service almost everywhere, but data connectivity can be spotty.

My biggest complaint is ATT's coverage between Portage WI and the Twin Cities. Phone works, but only on Edge network, no 3 or 4G. And this is on the major lane between Chicago and the Twin Cities! Burns me up every time I come home!

IMO verizon hands down, the only suggestion I've got is make sure you spend the extra $$$$ to get a screen your eyes can see, and more importantly your fingers fit. My 52 yr old eyes and fat little thumbs have a hard time with my .99 upgrade(Vortex). My 15 yr old grandaughter can work it great.
