Verizon is good, for me at least, like many others. But as @Opus said Verizon is expensive. I am currently paying $230 a month for three lines, all with unlimited data/talk/text. But my sons phone is on a payment plan with that also, however it is only $14 a month.

T-Mobile, the last time I attempted using their service was in 2013, when I lived in the Houston area. In my apartment when I had this service the whole 2 days I had it, I would have full bars, then nothing, consistently over and over again the entire time I was home. When I was outside and had connectivity the call quality was garbage and would drop calls frequently. You would think anywhere around Houston or any large city T-Mobile service would be excellent, but it wasn't for me.

Sprint, no idea. They used to be the big boy, now they seem to be doing the same if not worse then Straight Talk.

    Verizon is NOT king.

    ATT works better.

But they all have their dead spots.

For my travels. Verizon can't compete.

I would disagree with that. Verizon is king just about anywhere in the country. Where I live in Tennessee ATT is sketchy. Nobody around here has it. Everyone has Verizon or carriers like straight talk that utilize Verizon's network for lower cost. I use xfinity on Verizon's network and cut a $200+ phone bill with Verizon in half by switching to xfinity. Verizon had good cell and internet virtually everywhere. Xfinity has good cell everywhere but internet can be hit or miss. Probably because Verizon customers get priority. It's a tradeoff I can live with to save $1,400 a year. Not everyone is eligible for xfinity tho. You have to bundle their cell with other services or no can do.

When I was running up into Canada weekly I switched to ATT after Verizon changed their international plans and no longer offered unlimited data in the great white north. I kept my ATT plan when I was in Hawaii because everyone said Verizon didn’t work well at the time. Once back on the mainland full time I switched back to Verizon because ATT had way too many dead spots where I was running.

Ive had Verizon for over 7 years. However in the past couple years their data has been getting worse. It’s so bad now I’m considering switching.
The past couple months have gotten very bad, even though I may have cellular service the data will be crazy slow. I have unlimited plans for each device and I just upgraded to 5g in an effort to improve service and it still sucks.
    I run the southeast.

I remember Verizon being totally dead by the PA state line to Virginia's.

And Wyoming 287 and most of Nevada. Montana and the dakotas.

One of the commonly visited concert venues also didn't have CDMA coverage for about 2 miles.

Things may have changed in the last 7 years I've been home though.

Verizon being king was last century.
