Best places to hunt for local CDL jobs?

Do what I did years ago, go right to these places that have daycab trucks, and show your face. In this day of no social face to face interaction, if I was a boss, I'd think this guy is something special. He's really interested and not just doodling on the computer. While freight houses are your most logical choice, any place I saw a daycab sitting, I'd go in and ask. Companies today are so used to people inquiring on line, , with poor results, I'd think in person, you'd be a shoe-in.

Lead Driver will do deliveries and work in office and around yard. Lead Driver will do daytime deliveries each day and averge 18.5 hrs per week doing assorted duties. Lead Driver will be used to cover other routes when needed, ie, vacations, call offs, “specials”, etc
