Best portable AC no Apu

    Thanks, man i was hoping for a 200 dollar ac unit that can do it all but those dont truly exist lol. I guess i’ll have to go the generator standup ac route. Hoping i can get one thats not too loud. I do local so im always parked in parking lots sometimes near homes and apartments.

    I cant post the youtube link but a guy made a portable ac that runs from his cigarette lighter. He uses a cooler, a air blower and fills it with ice.

    That’s a swamp cooler. It’s been discussed here before. They don’t work in an OTR truck regardless of the reviews for ones they sell.

    You can legally carry 8 gallons. So I have a 5 gallon, and a 2.5 gallon jug.

    Well my fridge has a freezer. I can freeze bottles of water or some ice packs and then use them over night and in the morning i’ll have cold water i guess lol

    Where do you run? Personally I would probably go with a generator ac set up. I think bottle s will be weak.

    Build one from a danfoss 80 compressor. You will need about 4 6 volt batteries, compressor, condenser, speed controller, fans, and a isolator for charging the batteries when you drive. The result will be a 1500btu ac that will give you more cool air that anything else except the paccar battery Apu.
