Golga, many O/O's are protective of their freight rates. They don't want to be under bid and have the rates for that lane hit rock bottom, or simply lose work to someone willing to move freight at a little above fuel cost.

If you want to gain access to their club you are going to have to put on a dress and sleep your way to the top like they all did. You are going to have to earn your way to top pay, one night at a time.

I had always wondered this as I'm picking up a reefer soon, and figured no O/O in their sane mind will GIVE you what they use for that reason of underbidding. CHR didn't seem to have much going on, but direct customers are the way to go.

 

Just get a subscription to an internet load board. Also, most big trucking companies have brokerage sites as well. There are free load boards on the net, too.
