I am needing a good radio to help me in and out of the long woods roads. Just looking for advice on a radio cause it needs to be able to handle the abuse of log roads and all the vibration. Thanks

    I would go with a 25 or 29
If you need more range check into a better antenna and how its mounted along with the coax
Then you might think about a small box

I do agree they are tough but i was kinda thinking of moving up quite a bit and trying a 10 meter radio with some power. Any sugg. On a solid built unit thats reasonable

Not sure I agree with a 10-meter radio for what you're looking to do. Seems like a waste of money if you just want to communicate getting in/out of the woods. Stick to a Cobra 25/Cobra 29 or Uniden 68/78 and you'll be set. Get a TNT 350-HD 2-pill from xForce and you'll be set.
