I may be moving to Houston soon and want to at least try to get ahead of the curve as far as which companies to check out. I'm 31 years old, I'm a company driver with 6 years experience, clean driving record, don't have a CSA score. Open to local, regional or OTR at the moment. Not interested in any 1099 outfits.

    Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd go.

Go to Google and find out reefer or temperature managed freight.

I do not do "annnd go" I don't know why they are teaching you young ones that in school.

Moving on, There is KLLM, they purhased FFE not too long ago in Lancaster Texas. You will probably recieve some other reefer outfits.

A word of advice, drop the annnd go if you want good help. Many of us are too old to be ordered to cough up information you can dig up yourself relatively fast in a few minutes on google.

Save your negativity. You're making something out of nothing and that sort of thing isn't welcome here. I don't know in what universe "and go" is considered to be an order, but it isn't this one.

Cardinal Logistics has local/regional/OTR depending on the accounts they may have around Houston.
    Lessors Inc.
    Holland Enterprises Inc.
    Schuster
Western Distributing Transportation Corp.(3 divisions to choose from)
    FFE (Frozen Food Express)
    Freymiller
    Magnum Ltd.
Abilene Motor Express - pulls dry van & reefers. I think the trucks run 72 mph on cruise.

I worked for FFE years ago they have a large LTL Reefer Division you can make ok money at but Full Reefer OTR is low pay but I had no real complaints

Only real money in Texas is running oversize or tankers, Houston is a tanker goldmine btw.
